Asula Morinaga
Stage actor, theater educator, facilitator, stage interpreter & staff.
Lives in NY.
After graduating from the theater department at Toho Gakuen College of Arts and Acting.
She trained at HB STUDIO for two years as an overseas trainee sponsored by Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Appointed as a residence teaching artist beginning this year for the Pinchon + Company, which was established by Pinchon and received the National Medal of Arts, the highest art award in the United States, from President Obama as well as OBIE Award, the Off-Broadway Award).
As a Theater Educator Facilitator, she has worked with Japan Society, Aozora Gakuen, Brooklyn Japanese School, Tokyo Art Theater, Setagaya Public Theater, NPO Tane-no-Atelier among others.
