Jun Nakanishi

Born in Japan but moved to New York as a child in 1969. 

Started TQByT Language Services in 1996 to provide English/Japanese translations. Originally specialized in literary translations (novels), the company now offers a wide range of translation services – business letters and proposals, academic papers, contracts, subtitles, websites, magazine/newspaper articles and event/exhibition pamphlets – as well as proofreading, English advertisement copywriting and interpretation services. Jun has translated several books including “Marx Deceased” and “Bourbaki Gambit” by Carl Djerassi; “Convoluted Universe” by Dolores Canon. His English subtitle credits include “White Darkness” (film), “Bright Sunny Days” and “Count Down My Life” (both musicals). 

Jun also heads a NY-based music and event production company, Noon Tan Music & Entertainment, Inc. to produce Broadway musicals and dramas (Trip of Love, It’s a Hardbop Life, etc.), concerts, street events and art exhibitions.
